This course is ideal for both beginners and those who have been on our Basic or Sourdough Courses.


If you have always wanted to make real bread this course is for you. We use slow fermentation techniques for improved flavour.


The course is a full day course and we aim to:


Show you how to produce a range of Italian Breads and work high hydration doughs synonymous with Italian style breads.

Our aim will be to create at least:



Rustic style Italian Bread

Sourdough Pizza

Creating and baking bread with your own hands, the course is quite intensive with the aim of producing five different types of bread within the session.


We will explain the importance of using the slow fermentation techniques and how thye benefit Italian Breads and  show you how to knead, shape or handle the various doughs.


How you can include bread baking into busy lives.


Our courses are interactive and include all course materials, refreshments on arrival and throughout the day and lunch.You take away all of the bread you have made along with an apron and not to mention a new skill!



Cancellations within 28 days of the course are non-refundable, but you may transfer the booking to a friend if you are unable to attend. We will refund 50% of the course fee if you cancel your booking more than 28 days prior to the course date.


Transfers to another date/course are possible providing the change is requested at least 28 days prior to the original course date, this will be subject to availability. An administration charge of £30 plus any additonal charge for the relevant course will be made for any transfer.
