If you want to learn more about the most natural way of making bread this is the course for you.
Also if you are interested in the various aspects of bread making and never had the time to approach sourdough or thought you needed life changing commitment this course will educate and challenge past perceptions.
This course is aimed at bread making novices, beginners or chefs or cooks who wish to broaden their knowledge or apply the principles either at home or in a commercial environment.

You will learn:
the theory and some of the science behind sourdoughsHow to start and maintain your own starterThe timescales involved and how they fit with busy schedulesManaging your fermentationWhat can go wrong and what do you do when it doesAdditions to your basic sourdough loaf.
You will take away:
Hopefully an enlightened view and an ambition to make sourdough breads A jar of Artisan Foodworks Starter to set you on your way An apron The breads you have baked. Numbers are limited to 8 places and the course fee is £105 including VAT and all course materials.
