A true Artisan Bread. Using a natural starter of flour and water, adding Carrs flour and wholemeal flour creates a rustic loaf that is left to prove in a traditional wicker proving basket and baked directly onto the stone bed of the oven. The fermentation produces and deeper flavour and crusty loaf that is excellent with terrine, hearty soup and after a couple days the flavour develops. If stored correctly in a brown paper bag or linen bag at room temperature can last up to five days. Suitable for home freezing.
Top Tip: If you find the bread too crusty, place under a damp tea towel and put in the microwave for 10 seconds on full power to soften the crust.

For areas outside of this the minimum order is £90.00 and delivery is by arrangement either by courier or our own vehicle depending upon location.
